Waqar-e-Amal – Baitul Amn, Hayes
A Waqar-e-Amal session was arranged by the Middlesex Region at Baitul Amn, Hayes, on 29th May 2022. A total of 30 khuddam participated in the event from 9 different qiadats within the region.
5 khuddam from MKA Hayes East participated in the event from 10am to 4pm, dedicating 30 man-hours. The khuddam made a special effort to clean the kitchen of the mosque where all the food is prepared, hence, cleanliness and hygiene was of utmost importance.
As you can see from the pictures below the state of the kitchen before the activity started.
Cleaning Activities carried out by the khuddam:
Kitchen countertop was cleane
All cabinets were cleaned with kitchen cleaner
All expired food items were discarded
All utensils were washed before arranging in drawers
All stoves were deep cleaned
Exhaust grill and pipes were deep cleaned
Area under the sink was thoroughly cleaned
All large pots are kept back in the shed (blocking the store door)
Area surrounding the sink was cleaned
Floor was thoroughly mopped and cleaned
Jazakallah wa ahsanal Jaza to Salman Rashid, Sumeet Tahir, Iqbal Javed, Ihtasham Baig, and Syed Asad Hussain for sacrificing their time and effort to participate in this blessed event.
