Atfal of 14 – 15 years from all around the UK came to Baitul Wahid Mosque, Feltham for their tarbiyyati camp (spiritual development) and stayed there from 1st July to 3rd July 2022. This blessed event presented an opportunity to the Middlesex Region to provide its support throughout the 3 days to ensure all arrangements were carried out smoothly.

 

5 Khuddam from MKA Hayes (East & West) performed various duties at Baitul Wahid Mosque from 9:00 pm to 12:00 am, contributing 15 man-hours.

 

Ishaat: 2 Meetings were held in the preceding week to ensure all the roles and responsibilities were assigned. The Qaideen and Nazim Waqar-e-Amal promoted the event to the khuddam to come forward to participate through texts and calls.

 

Kidmat-e-Khalaq: Ishtiqa Ahmad Sb picked up 2 khuddam whereas Syed Asad Hussain Sb picked up 1 khuddam to bring to this blessed event for the duty.

 

Amoomi: 2 khuddam from MKA Hayes were on gate duty from 9:00 pm to 12:00 am to ensure only authorised cars were allowed to enter the mosque and make sure that no atfal left the premises.

 

Tarbiyyat: All the khuddam on duty prayed congregational Maghrib and Isha prayers at the mosque.

 

Waqar e Amal: As part of the waqar e amal, the khuddam carried out the following duties:

• Cleaned all the tables and dinner area after the atfal had finished
• Folded all the tables and chairs which were stacked in the mosque’s lobby
• Ensured that all 3 washrooms were cleaned and had the required products in stock
• Transported all the food for the next 3 days from the cars to the kitchen area
• Provided atfal with pillows, duvets, and mattresses as needed

 

Ziafat: Once all the duties had been carried out, food was arranged for the khuddam on duty.

 

Jazakallah wa ahsanal jaza to Tauheed Ahmed Khan Sb, Shayaan Kashif Sb, Ishtiaq Ahmad Sb, Muhammad Javed Iqbal Sb, and Syed Asad Hussain Sb for sacrificing their time for this blessed event. May Allah bless you.
