Chapter 29, Verse 70
وَالَّذِیۡنَ جَاہَدُوۡا فِیۡنَا لَنَہۡدِیَنَّہُمۡ سُبُلَنَا ؕ وَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَمَعَ الۡمُحۡسِنِیۡنَ ﴿٪۷۰﴾
English Translation
And as for those who strive in Our path — We will surely guide them in Our ways. And verily Allah is with those who do good.
And as for those who strive[2268] to meet Us—We will, surely, guide them in Our ways. And, verily, Allah is with those who do good.
Jihad as ordained by Islam does not consist in killing and being killed, but in striving hard to win the pleasure of God, the word, Fina meaning ‘meet Us.’
