Chapter 2, Verse 153
فَاذۡکُرُوۡنِیۡۤ اَذۡکُرۡکُمۡ وَاشۡکُرُوۡا لِیۡ وَلَا تَکۡفُرُوۡنِ ﴿۱۵۳﴾٪
English Translation
Therefore remember Me, and I will remember you; and be thankful to Me and do not be ungrateful to Me.
Therefore, [b]remember[178] Me, and I will remember you; and be thankful to Me and do not be ungrateful to Me.
2:204; 8:46; 62:11.
Remembrance of God on the part of man means, to remember Him with love and devotion, to carry out His commands, to bear in mind His attributes, to glorify Him and offer prayers to Him. And remembrance of man on the part of God signifies, God’s drawing man near to Himself, bestowing favours upon him and making provision for his welfare.
