Chapter 2, Verse 209
یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوا ادۡخُلُوۡا فِی السِّلۡمِ کَآفَّۃً ۪ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوۡا خُطُوٰتِ الشَّیۡطٰنِ ؕ اِنَّہٗ لَکُمۡ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِیۡنٌ ﴿۲۰۹﴾
English Translation
O ye who believe! come into submission wholly and follow not the footsteps of Satan; surely, he is your open enemy.
O ye who believe, come into submission all of you[249] and [b]follow not the footsteps of Satan; surely, he is your open enemy.
Kaffah means, (1) all together; (2) wholly or completely; (3) repulsing the enemy and (4) restraining oneself or others from sin and digression (Mufradat).
