Freedom From Hellfire

” I wish to say that it is incredibly vital, especially during the month of Ramadan, when everyone should strive to recite at least one full part [juz’] of the Holy Quran daily so that they can complete an entire reading. “
(Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aba) – Friday Sermon 22nd March 2024)
Dive into the Holy Qur’an 🤲

The month of Ramadan is that in which the Qur’an was sent down as a guidance for mankind with clear proofs of guidance and discrimination.

Freedom From Hellfire
The Holy Prophet(sa) has said that the last ten days of Ramadan are of attaining salvation from Hell. We must pay special attention towards our prayers especially during the last ten days of Ramadan, so that we may attain the pleasure of God Almighty and be saved from the hellfire.

The Power of Darood Shareef

The Promised Messiah (as) stated:
“I always wonder how high was the status of this Arabian Prophet, whose name was Muhammad, (thousands of blessings and peace be upon him). One cannot reach the limit of his high status and it is not given to man to estimate correctly his spiritual effectiveness. It is a pity that his rank has not been recognised, as it should have been. He was the champion who restored to the world the Unity of God which had disappeared from the world; he loved God in the extreme and his soul melted out of sympathy for mankind. Therefore, God, Who knew the secret of his heart, exalted him above all the Prophets and all the first ones and the last ones and bestowed upon him in his lifetime all that he desired.

Durood Shareef is a way to gain blessings, wipe out our faults and elevate our spiritual rank. Hazrat Anas bin Malik (ra) narrated that the Holy Prophet(sa) said:
“Whoever sends salutations upon me once, Allah will send peace upon him tenfold, and will erase ten sins from him, and will raise him ten degrees in status.”
Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (May Allah Be his Helper) states:
“The state of the Holy Prophet’s (sa) prayers during the last ten days of Ramadan cannot even be described in words. Regarding the state of his prayers during the month of Ramadan, Hazrat A’ishah(ra) relates that he strove harder in his prayers than was seen at any other time.”

Layatul Qadr - The Night of Destiny

The Holy Prophet (sa) said that “Laylatul Qadr should be searched in the last ten days. If one is weak and vulnerable he/she should never be overcome in the last seven nights.”
Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (May Allah Be his Helper) states:
“The spiritual experience of this special night brings about amazing transformation in a person and so it should, otherwise the due of the night is not fulfilled. If one believes one has experienced Laylatul Qadr, the worship of which night is better than the worship of 1000 months, and thinks he does not need any more worship, he is misled.“
(Friday Sermon – 27th August 2010)
