By the Grace of Allah, New Malden and Worcester Park Jama’ats joined forces on Sunday 8th February to hold a Tabligh stall on Worcester Park High Street.

 

It featured a sign inviting locals to consider Islam as a peaceful religion, and a whiteboard was also on display prompting thoughts on Islams compatibility with our national context. The stall provided an opportunity to demonstrate an openness, and outward display of representation, of British Muslims, by British Muslims. Pedestrians walking past or in the nearby vicinity saw a wide display of Jama’at literature at the stall and our Khuddam were graced with warm and friendly faces by passers-by.

 

 

Alhumdolillah, a total of 21 leaflets were distributed during the activity, with some members of the public expressing a sincere interest in reading them, as we saw in the example of one woman searching for one of our Khuddam in the middle of the high street to ask for a second leaflet as she had lost her first one.

 

May Allah the Almighty place His special blessings in the efforts of our Khuddam, and may our Khuddam continue to show gratitude to our Rabb by making their utmost efforts to elevate the standard of our Tabligh, Insh’Allah, Ameen.
