On the 17th of June 2024, Southall was blessed with the opportunity to donate to a chosen charity to benefit food banks. This was fulfilled  by Nazim KEK and his team.
Feeding others is one of the charitable deeds in Islam, and it includes donating food and water to others, to get closer to Allah and seek his rewards. It was mentioned in the Quran and Hadith to highlight its importance. Allah describes the believers as virtuous in the Quran: “, and give food—despite their desire for it—to the poor, the orphan, and the captive.” (Al-Insan 5 – 8). It is our duty as muslims to partake in such activities to both strengthen the community and our bond with Allah. May Allah enable such continuous efforts.
