
Carshalton – Local Ijtema 2025
By the grace of Allah the Almighty, Carshalton Qiadat held its local Ijtema for Khuddam and Atfal on Sunday 16th February 2025 at Baitul Ehsan Mosque.
The Ijtema begin at 9:00 AM with breakfast and registration followed by the opening session at 10:00 AM with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by the Khuddam pledge and a nazm. The local Qaid, Tayab Raza sahib, delivered the opening speech on the Ijtema theme ‘ Holy Qur’an – The Casket of Jewels’, followed by the address by Respected Regional Qaid, Sajeel Masood sahib, and concluded this session with dua.
At 10:30 AM, the Atfal academic competitions began in the Multipurpose Hall, while Khuddam started their sports activities at the Old Baitul Ehsan Mosque. A well-organised lunch was served at 12:30 PM, featured Biryani, Pasta, Raita, Kheer, and cold drinks, after which Zuhr and Asr prayers were offered at 1:30 PM.
Post-prayers, Khuddam academics started in the Multipurpose Hall at Baitul Ehsan Mosque, while Atfal sports were held at the Old Baitul Ehsan Mosque. At 3:30 PM, a quiz competition for Khuddam was conducted, followed by a presentation at 4:00 PM on this year’s Ijtema theme ‘Holy Qur’an – The Casket of Jewels’.
The closing session commenced at 4:30 PM with Tilawat and translation, followed by the Khuddam pledge and a nazm. Additional Mohtamim Maal, Muhammad Luqman sahib, attended the closing session alongside Regional Qaid Sajeel Masood sahib. The local Nazim-e-Aala Ijtema Talmeez Sahib presented the Ijtema report, and a special highlights video of the Ijtema was played on the projector.
The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, where Additional Mohtamim Maal Muhammad Luqman Sahib presented prizes to Khuddam and Atfal, followed by his address and dua led by Murabbi Farukh Arshad Sahib. Maghrib prayer was offered at 5:30 PM, after which all participants gathered in the Multipurpose Hall for an extended closing session with Respected Sadr Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Abdul Quddus Arif Sahib. He conducted an interactive question-and-answer session, which the Atfal particularly enjoyed as they asked numerous questions. The Ijtema highlights video was replayed for Sadr Sahib, who appreciated the efforts and provided feedback. This year we introduced a tuck shop at our Ijtema, which the Atfal really liked and Sadr Sahib praised this initiative. The Ijtema concluded with a final dua and a memorable group picture, marking the successful end of the Carshalton Khuddam and Atfal Local Ijtema 2025
Alhumdulillah, Carshalton Qiadat held a successful Ijtema with a total attendance of 70 out of 107 (65%)
