Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, Wallington Qiadat successfully held its annual local Ijtema for Khuddam and Atfal on Sunday, 2nd February 2025, at Baitul Ehsan Mosque.

The day commenced with breakfast and registration, setting the stage for a day filled with engaging competitions and brotherhood.

Opening Session

At 10:00 AM, the opening session began, presided over by Attique Ur Rehman sb, Mohtamim Ishaat. The session commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by the Khuddam pledge and an opening address by Respected Attique Ur Rehman sb, who spoke on this year’s inspiring Ijtema theme: “The Holy Qur’an – A Casket of Jewels.” The session concluded with a silent prayer, marking the official start of the Ijtema.

Academic Competitions

Following the opening session, Khuddam and Atfal participated in a range of academic competitions.

• Khuddam Competitions: Tilawat, Nazm, Adhan, Prepared Speech, and Extempore Speech.

• Atfal Competitions: Tilawat, Nazm, Adhan, Prepared Speech, Extempore Speech, and a Written Salat Test.

After the competitions, participants gathered for Zuhr and Asr prayers, followed by a delicious lunch.

Sports and Activities

The afternoon saw the much-anticipated sports competitions, featuring:

• Table Tennis
• Dodgeball
• Strongman Challenge

Additionally, several indoor activities, including Foosball, Carrom, and Snooker, kept attendees engaged throughout the day.

Concluding Session

The concluding session was chaired by Sajeel Masood sb, Regional Qaid of Baitul Ehsan and began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, the Khuddam pledge, and a Nazm. This was followed by a brief Ijtema report and the prize distribution ceremony, recognizing the outstanding performances of participants.

Respected Sajeel Masood sb then delivered a heartfelt address, emphasizing the significance of this year’s Ijtema theme and encouraging attendees to deepen their connection with the Holy Qur’an. The event concluded with a silent prayer, bringing a spiritually uplifting and successful Ijtema to a close.

Alhamdulillah, the Ijtema was a blessed gathering that strengthened bonds of brotherhood and reinforced the values of faith, knowledge, and discipline
