Hounslow, UK – Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, the Hounslow North Qiadat Ijtema, held on 15th February 2025, was a resounding success! The event, held at Bait un Noor and Lampton School for Sports, brought together Khuddam and Atfal for a day filled with academic excellence, spiritual enlightenment, and athletic competition.

Attendance

• Khuddam: 48 out of 84 (57%)

• Atfal: 11 out of 25 (44%) – A lower turnout due to illness

Highlights of the Day

• The event commenced at 9:00 AM with a light breakfast featuring chai, doughnuts, and cookies, followed by the opening session.

• Academic Competitions: Participants showcased their knowledge and skills in Tilawat, Nazm, Extempore Speech, and Adhaan.

• Special Events:

  • Muay Thai Training Session for Atfal

  • Team Quiz for Khuddam, which was a major highlight!

• Prayers: After Zuhr and Asr prayers, attendees enjoyed a delicious meal featuring:

  • Chicken tenders for Atfal

  • Chicken stir-fry for Khuddam

  • Dessert: Cake with custard and chai

• Sports Competitions: Hosted at Lampton School, featuring football, cricket, and basketball for both Khuddam and Atfal.

• Guest Speakers: A special JazakAllah to Saad Ahmed Sahib and Asad Bhubo Sahib for their inspiring words and Tabligh Stall.

Alhamdulillah, this Ijtema successfully combined spiritual growth, intellectual learning, and physical activity, reinforcing the bonds of brotherhood. May Allah enable us to continue strengthening our unity and devotion. Ameen.
