MKA Putney Heath Ijtema 2026
Alhamdulillah, another successful Local Ijtema was held at the Putney Heath Salat Centre. The Ijtema consisted of a three-day event.
On Day 1 (Saturday 31st January 2026), Putney Heath Atfal held their annual Sports Day from 10am – 1pm. Following Zuhr Namaz, Putney Heath Khuddam held their own Sports Day, where a variety of Khuddam took part in both team-building activities and individual sporting competitions. Throughout the day, participants demonstrated a strong spirit of brotherhood and enjoyment.
The Sports Day concluded with a short address delivered by Regional Qaid Sahib and Murabbi, Touqeer Ahmed Tanvir Sahib, after Isha Namaz, followed by Dua and dinner.
On Sunday 8th February 2026, the annual Putney Heath Khuddam Ijtema continued in full swing and on a much larger scale, held at the new local Salat Centre. The day began with registration and breakfast, followed by the opening session chaired by Mauvin Sadr Abdul Jalil Sahib, who delivered a short address to the Khuddam regarding the purpose of the Ijtema and the theme of the year.
For this year’s Ijtema, a brand new exhibition was also prepared for attendees. The exhibition included displays on the steps of Salat, interesting facts about the Holy Qur’an, and inspirational insights relating to this year’s theme, allowing Khuddam to learn and reflect throughout the event.
Khuddam then participated in various team-building exercises, including the maze challenge and quiz competitions. The event was honoured by a visit from Nazim-e-Ala Ijtema and Naib Sadr, Attique-ur-Rehman Sahib, who expressed his appreciation for the efforts and hard work put into organising the Ijtema and creating such an enjoyable atmosphere. During his visit, Attique Sahib delivered an inspiring talk highlighting the importance of maintaining a strong attachment to Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya and fostering a sense of brotherhood.
Following this, academic competitions took place, with Khuddam actively participating in a range of contests. Zuhr and Asr Namaz were then offered, followed by lunch. Afterwards, another team-building activity took place in the form of a Kahoot quiz, where Khuddam worked together to formulate answers to various questions.
The concluding session was chaired by Naib Regional Qaid Sahib, where Tilawat, Nazm, prize distribution, and the annual Ijtema report were presented. Alhamdulillah, the Ijtema achieved an attendance of 96%. We truly appreciate every Khadim in the Qiadat for attending and contributing to the success of the Ijtema.
