Prayers from the Holy Qur’an
1) One should recite Surah Fatiha as much as possible.
2) Durood Shareef is another incredible important prayer that we not only recite during Salat, but also during the day.
Translation: Bless, O Allah, Muhammad and the people of Muhammad, as Thou didst bless Abraham and the
people of Abraham. Thou art indeed the Praiseworthy, the Glorious. Prosper, O Allah,
Muhammad and the people of Muhammad, as Thou didst prosper Abraham and the people of
Abraham. Thou art indeed the Praiseworthy, the Glorious.
Translation: Our Lord, grant us good in this world as well as good in the world to come, and protect us from the torment of the Fire.
(Surah Baqarah Verse 202)
4) Prayer for patience:
Translation: O our Lord, pour forth steadfastness upon us, and make our steps firm, and help us against the disbelieving people.
(Surah Baqarah Verse 251)
5) Prayer for forgiveness
Translation: Our Lord, do not punish us, if we forget or fall into error; and our Lord, lay not on us a responsibility as Thou didst lay upon those before us. Our Lord, burden us not with what we have not the strength to bear; and efface our sins, and grant us forgiveness and have mercy on us; Thou art our Master; so help us Thou against the disbelieving people.
(Surah Baqarah Verse 287)
6) Prayer for Steadfastness:
