On the 2nd of December 2023, following last month’s successful event, 39 khuddam by the grace of Allah attended a mass tree planting event whereby they managed to plant over 370 trees! With each tree planted, we gift future generations cleaner air and restored ecosystems. In Islam, planting trees is revered, echoing Prophet Muhammad’s teachings on environmental stewardship, and is seen by Allah as a form of Sadaqah Jariyah. Hopefully this is something that we can continue to do to both better the environment and ourselves spiritually.
