Southall Jamaat : A Month of Spiritual Enrichment and Community Engagement

Sadr MKA UK Visits Southall as Part of Middlesex Tour

Southall was honoured to welcome Sadr Majlis Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya UK during his first visit to the Middlesex region. The programme commenced with the Isha prayer, followed by an interactive session attended by Khuddam and Atfal.

During the meeting, members introduced themselves to Sadr Sahib and sought his advice on personal development, service to the Jamaat, and enhancing one’s spiritual journey.

The atmosphere was warm and engaging, with Sadr Sahib offering practical guidance grounded in Islamic principles.

The evening concluded with light refreshments, allowing attendees to further engage in informal discussion and strengthen bonds of brotherhood.

Khuddam Tarbiyyat Panel : “How to Be Free From Sin”

Southall and Greenford Majlis jointly organised a Tarbiyyat event titled “How to Be Free From Sin”, aimed at addressing contemporary challenges faced by young men.

The session featured a guest panel and covered several key topics, including:

  • Maintaining purity in an increasingly complex world

  • Confronting modern addictions and harmful habits

  • Building spiritual resilience

  • Open Q&A and anonymous submissions for sensitive questions

Held on Friday, 28 November at Darus Salam Mosque, the event successfully created a safe and honest environment for Khuddam to seek guidance on moral and practical issues. The discussion encouraged self-reflection and provided actionable steps towards strengthening one’s relationship with Allah.

Southall Jama’at General Meeting Focuses on Waqf-e-Jadid

Southall Jama’at also held a General Meeting, centred on the theme of Waqf-e-Jadid : The New Dedication. Members gathered at Darus Salam Mosque for the programme, which highlighted the history, purpose, and blessings associated with the scheme.

The event featured presentations and remarks from representatives of the national Waqf-e-Jadid Department, including the Regional Amir Middlesex. Auxiliary organisations held specialised breakout sessions, allowing for age and role specific discussions.

Following the Zohr and Asr prayers, members enjoyed lunch together, strengthening unity within the community.

These gatherings collectively offered Southall Jama’at members the opportunity to learn, reflect, and deepen their commitment to faith. The week’s activities demonstrated the continued enthusiasm and dedication of the local community in fostering spiritual growth and brotherhood.
