In the society we live, people mark the New Year in different ways. In the early hours of Jan 1 2023, while some people might have been in a daze after a night of ‘partying’ and while others may be fast asleep, members of our Jama’at came together for the worship of Almighty Allah. This indeed is the purpose of our very creation, to seek, recognise and worship our Creator, and so this is how we chose to mark the New Year.

Alhamdulillah, we had the largest gathering at Darus Salaam for Tuhajjad & Fajr in our history. There was a total of 150 members present. On the men’s side we had 91 members and on the ladies side there were 59 members Alhamdulillah. These figures include 21 members that joined Southall Jama’at from Greenford Jama’at.
