Story Book Competition

About the Competition

The spirit behind this competition is to provide more options to Parents and even to-be Parents for the Tarbiyyat of their Children in form of Books that they can give their Children to read or as a Night Reading. The overarching theme of the Books that we would like participants to write about should be of Islamic nature in order to instill the pure teachings of Islam at the young age to our children.

What Topic to choose?

We encourage you to pick Topics that cover Islamic Fundamental beliefs, any of the injuctions mentioned in the Holy Quran, Moral qualities that Muslims should adopt or inspirational stories that can help our children to become better Muslims. These guiding principles should originate from either of the following sources: Holy Quran, practices of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (sa), guidance received from Promised Messiah (as) or any of the Khulafa.

How long should the book be?

The Book can be as long as or as short as you wish, however keep your Readers always in mind. Regardless of your target audience, small children or teenagers or even parents, your Book should only contain facts, verified sources and be an easy read for Parents or older children themselves.
