Southall Regional Khilafat day and Eid preperation windup
The Middlesex region came together in unity and purpose as Southall had the honour of hosting this year’s Regional Khilafat Day, organised by Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya. The day served not only as a celebration of our blessed bond with Khilafat but also as a means of fostering brotherhood, learning, and spiritual reflection.
The event began with registration and an opening session welcoming Khuddam from across Middlesex. From the outset, there was a strong sense of community, with everyone working to make sure this was a memorable day for everyone.
One of the main highlights was the region-wide team quiz. Designed with a creative twist, the quiz included interactive challenges where teams could directly compete against one another, introducing an exciting layer of strategy and engagement. This not only tested general knowledge and Islamic understanding but also provided an excellent opportunity for Khuddam to build competitiveness in a relaxed and fun environment.
Throughout the day, refreshments were made available, allowing attendees to enjoy moments of fellowship during breaks. These informal interactions gave Khuddam the chance to meet others from different parts of the region, reinforcing the sense of unity and shared purpose that defines Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya.
The spiritual peak of the event came in the form of a live virtual address by respected National Sadr Majlis, Abdul Quddus Arif Sahib, delivered . In his talk, Sadr Sahib spoke passionately about the blessings of Khilafat, the history of divine leadership in Islam, and the critical role that Khuddam play in serving the Jama’at. His heartfelt message left a lasting impression on all attendees, inspiring a renewed sense of devotion and responsibility.
Following this inspirational session, Khuddam joined in offering congregational prayers, reinforcing the spiritual focus of the day and aligning hearts in gratitude and submission to Allah.
The event concluded with a waqar-e-amal session in preparation for the upcoming Eid celebrations on 6th June. Khuddam demonstrated their commitment to service by cleaning and organising the mosque and surrounding areas, showing that the spirit of Khilafat is not only about words but action.
Overall, the Middlesex Regional Khilafat Day in Southall was a memorable and meaningful experience , a day marked by unity, purpose, and spiritual reflection. It left attendees energised, better connected, and more committed to the values of Islam and Khilafat.
