
Deer Park Local Ijtema 2025: Holy Quran – Casket Of Jewels
Ijtema Date: 2nd February 2025
Time: 9:30AM – 5:00PM
Location: Scouts Hall, Baitul Futuh
Attendance: 71% Khuddam and 80% Atfal
Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya and Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya Deer Park Qiadat held their annual Ijtema on Sunday 2nd February 2025 at Scouts Hall, Baitul Futuh. The theme of this year’s Ijtema was “The Holy Quran – Casket of Jewels”.

Registration and Breakfast:
Khuddam and Atfal started arriving at 9:30AM for registration. Full breakfast was served before the opening session, which included Naan & Chanay, Fresh Bakery, Cereals, Jam, Bread, and Tea.

Exhibition:
A very detailed and comprehensive exhibition was organized by the Ijtema committee, covering the theme of the year; “The Holy Quran – Casket of Jewels”


As part of the Ijtema exhibition, Ahmad Kamaluddin Sahib from MKA Deer Park designed a Hologram showing
Holy Quran. The hologram was best viewed in dark and was very delightful to see.

Opening Session:
Opening Session started around 10:45AM which was chaired by Murabbi Salman Qamar Sahib; Naib Regional Qaid Baitul Futuh.

The agenda for opening session was as follows:
– Tilawat: Ahmed Kamaluddin (Deer Park Khadim)
– Translation: Harris Ginai (Deer Park Tifl)
– Pledge: Murabbi Salman Qamar Sahib
– Nazm: Muhammad Fasihuddin Ahmad (Deer Park Khadim)
– Welcome Address: Local Qaid Deer Park
– Opening Session Speech: Murabbi Salman Qamar Sahib
– Dua: Local Sadr Sahib Deer Park Jamaat


The opening session was followed by Khuddam Academics in the main hall, and Atfal Academics in the
adjacent small hall.
Khuddam Academics:
The Khuddam academics included Tilawat, Nazm, Azan, and English Speech. The judges for these competitions were respected Hidayatullah Shad Sahib from Ansarullah Deer Park, and Murabbi Salman Qamar Sahib. The competitions started right after the opening session and finished at 12:30PM.


Khuddam Interaction and Icebreaker session:
There was an interactive session right after the Khuddam academics, especially for those Khuddam who would not otherwise take part in any activities. Each Khadim was given a chance to introduce themselves and talk about any interesting stuff they liked. This session gave a chance to new Khuddam to introduce themselves as well.

The interactive session was immediately followed by a set of very interesting and engaging activities led by one of the Khuddam; Temur Ahmed Khan Pasha. Khuddam had fun taking part in these activities.
Atfal Academics:
Atfal Academics ran alongside Khuddam academics, right after the opening session. The Atfal academics included Tilawat, Nazm, Azan, English Speech, and an open team quiz. Atfal were divided into three age groups for the academics, which included Dianat (7-9), Sadaqat (10-12), and Shujaat (13-15). The Atfal academics were judged by Murabbi Ahsan Maqsood Sahib.

During the session, Atfal were also joined by Respected Shoaib Ali Sahib, Naib Mohtamim Atfal. He discussed the purpose of Ijtema, as well as the questions from the quiz. The session concluded at 1:20 PM.

Khuddam Sports:
Football Session was organized one day prior to Ijtema, at Mitcham Canon Leisure Centre, in which 13 Khuddam took part. This was to ensure that Khuddam don’t miss out on outdoor sports on Ijtema day due to the restriction of venue.


Apart from football, Khuddam sports included Dodgeball, Tug of War, and Sabit Qadmi. The sports session on the Ijtema day commenced just before Zuhr & Asr prayer and continued after lunch.

Prayers and Lunch:
Khuddam and Atfal went to the main hall in Baitul Futuh mosque for Zuhr and Asr prayers at 1:30PM. Upon their return to the Ijtema Hall, lunch was served. The menu was Fish, Chicken Biriyani, Chicken Pasta, and Gajar Halwa.

Atfal Sports:
Following lunch, Atfal participated in the sports competitions, which included Dodgeball, Tug of War, and Sabit Qadmi. The session lasted till 3:30PM.


Session with Khuddam by Regional Nazim Sanat-o-Tijarat:
Regional Nazim Sanat-o-Tijarat, Ata ur Rehman Sahib, and his team member Arees Sahib had a very informative and interactive session with the Khuddam while Atfal sports were taking place. The session covered various aspects including CV-building, career planning, self-confidence etc.

Closing Session:
The closing session commenced at 4:30PM and was chaired by respected Usman Shehzad Butt Sahib, Mohtamim Tarbiyat New Ahmadis.

Khuddam and Atfal also had a Talqeen-Amal Session with Mohtamim Sahib during the closing session.

– Pledge: Usman Shehzad Butt Sahib
– Nazm: Hashaam Ahmad Bajwa
– Ijtema Report: Local Qaid MKA Deer Park
– Prize Distribution: Usman Shehzad Butt Sahib
– Concluding remarks and Dua: Regional Qaid Baitul Futuh

Prize Distribution:
Prize distribution ceremony took place at the end of the closing session, where Khuddam and Atfal were awarded prizes for Academics and Sports Competitions. There were also some appreciation awards, and Best Khadim & Best Tifl awards.

The session formally concluded with Regional Qaid Sahib Baitul Futuh leading Khuddam and Atfal in silent prayers, followed by Maghrib prayers at Baitul Futuh mosque.
Cleaning and Wind-up
After Maghrib Prayers, most of the Khuddam and Atfal were allowed to go home while a few Khuddam from Ijtema committee remained there in order to clean-up the venue and return the borrowed items. The venue was properly cleaned up, and everything was returned to its original place.
