
Sutton Local Ijtema 2025
Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, Sutton Qiadat held their local Ijtema on Sunday 9th February 2025 at An-Nusrat Block, (old) Baitul Ehsan Mosque.
Outdoor Sports Competitions
The sports segment was held on Sunday 2nd February 2025 with outdoor team and individual competitions, including the 50 m sprint, football, tug-of-war, and dodgeball for both Khuddam and older Atfal. These were held at the Sutton Life Centre. The event’s success was evident as participants remained for an additional 1.5 hours beyond the scheduled time, reflecting their engagement and enjoyment.

Main Ijtema Day
On Sunday 9th February 2025, the main day of the local Ijtema, with academic and indoor sports competitions, took place. Registration began at 9:00 AM, followed by the official opening session, which was chaired by Regional Qaid Sajeel Masood sahib, with the silent prayer led by Nadeem Karamat sahib, our local Sadr Jama’at.

The morning session was structured to facilitate both Atfal academic competitions and Khuddam sports events (pool, table tennis, arm wrestling and push up challenge).
Following this, the lunch was served in the Red Building, providing an opportunity for fellowship and interaction. The day’s schedule then continued with Zuhr and Asr prayers at Baitul Ehsan Mosque.
The afternoon session comprised of Atfaal Sports and Khuddam academics.
An exhibition was held on the theme of the Ijtema. This included posters and a display of Qur’anic translation highlighting the service of Jama’at Ahmadiyya to the Holy Quran.
A tuck shop was also run at the ijtema with sales of around 60 pounds, with profits going to Humanity First.

The Concluding Session, chaired by both Respected Naib Sadr MKA UK Mobushar Raja sahib and Muhammad Saif Ullah Saleem sahib, then started which included Tilawat & translation, Pledge, and Nazm, Ijtema Report by local Nazim-e-Aala sahib, followed by Prize Distribution. Following that, Naib Sadr Muhammad Saif Ullah Saleem sahib spoke to the Khuddam and Atfal and highlighted the importance of this theme.
This session and Ijtema formally concluded with silent prayer.
