Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, Sutton Qiadat held their local Ijtema on Saturday 4th February at Baitul Ehsan.

Khuddam Academics and Indoor Sports Ijtema took place in the morning time, while Atfal Academics were held in the afternoon.

Prior to this Ijtema, Sports were held outdoor on previous Sunday 29th January 2023 in Rose Hill Recreational Ground.

 

The day started with Fajr Namaz at 6:45am followed by a Dars / Talqeen-e-Aml session by Regional Murabbi sahib. 

Following that, Breakfast was served and Registration started. Registration desk included checking the information of each Khadim that is on record, and to update where needed.

Shortly after 9am, the Opening Session started and was chaired by Regional Qaid Shahzad Bashir sahib. In his opening remarks, Regional Qaid sahib spoke about the importance of Salat and how to make it an integral part of our lives and to find the delight in offering them. This session concluded with silent prayers.

 

Following that, before the Academic competitions, all attendees were asked to complete the Talim Challenge for February 2023.

Academic Competitions included Tilawat, Nazm, Adhan, Prepared Speech & Extempore Speech.

After the academic competitions concluded, one indoor activity was held, namely table tennis.

 

During this time, Sadr Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya, Respected Abdul Quddus Arif sahib also arrived and graced our local Ijtema with his attendance. He spoke to the Khuddam while the semifinal and final matches were taking place and also took part in a match with Regional Qaid Sahib. Sutton Khuddam also took the opportunity to have a group photo with Sadr Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya UK.

 

After Sadr sahib’s departure, it was time for the concluding session of Sutton’s Khuddam Ijtema.

The Concluding Session was chaired by Regional Qaid Shahzad Bashir sahib and included Tilawat & translation, Pledge, Nazm and Ijtema Report, followed by a Prize Distribution.

 

In the Concluding session, local Qaid Sutton thanked the Khuddam for attending and reminded about the importance of the theme of this year to be made part of everyone’s daily life.

At the end Regional Qaid sahib led the attendees in silent prayer.

 

After this, Zuhr & Asr Namaz were offered followed by lunch.

By the grace of Allah, a total of 35 Khuddam attended this Ijtema.
