Worcester Park 2022 Rally report

 

By the grace of Allah Worcester Park held a hybrid Ijtema on Sunday 9th January. The opening session begun with Tilawat and the Majlis was fortunate to have respected Sadr Saab delivering the opening speech, virtually. This session was followed by academics which consisted of various competition: Tilwat, Adhan, prepared speech and extempore speech. This was followed by an “ask a Murabi” session in which Khuddam had sent in questions to be answered by respected Maulana Raheel Sb. There was a short break for Zohr and Asr prayers. After this break we undertook a quiz covering the theme of the Ijtema as well as sports, politics and geography. The virtual events concluded with a closing session chaired by respected Naib Sadr, Tariq Hayat Saab.

After a short break Khuddam gathered at Tolworth Goals to compete in various sports, including a crossbar challenge and a football match. The sports session concluded with a prize giving ceremony chaired by respected Modasser Raja Saab (Naib RQ).
