The Ijtema Report is as follows:
The theme for this years Ijtema was Honouring our Pledge. Preparations for the Ijtema began in late December with the formation of an Ijtema committee and a meeting was held to discuss roles and responsibilities.
Attendance drive then started with house visits, phones calls and texts to all the Khuddam in the Halqa and a number of meetings were held by the Ijtema committee to plan and prepare the Virtual Rally and the Sports Competitions.
By the grace of Allah we held our Ijtema on Sunday, 16 January 2022. The day began at 7am with Fajrprayers at home followed by registration at 9:45.
The opening session started at 10am and we were fortunate enough to have Respected Sadr sb UK at this session. It was a joint session with several other Qiadats. We had the welcome address from the qaid of each Qiadat followed by a short but inspiring speech by Sadr Khuddam-ul-Ahmaddiya UK. Sadr sb then held a short questions and answer session with the Khuddam.
The academic competitions started at 11:15 and included Tilawat, Nazm, Adhaan and Prepared Speech. Due to time limitations, the academic competitions were fairly short but nonetheless fiercely competitive. Judges on the day were Mubarak Siddiqi sb and Hafiz Nasir sb.
This was followed by a short presentation from the National Ishaat Team delivered by Nauman Hadi sbon the newly launched MKA App and other services launched by the Ishaat team.
An interactive quiz was then conducted by the local Talim department presented by Talha sb and Rafiq sb on findmyquiz.com. Khuddam from the majlis joined through their devices.
This was followed by another presentation from Behzad Khan sb from the Regional Khidmat-e-Khalqdepartment on the importance of Khidmat-e-Khalqand upcoming projects of the team.
A short break was given for Zuhr and Asr prayer and we reconvened at 1:30 for our closing session with Respected Guest Abid Khan Sb Jamaat Press Secretary and Regional Qaid sb.
