Middlesex Region Khuddam Plant 175 Trees in Environmental Effort
Sunday – 9th February – Alhamdulillah, 13 dedicated Khuddam from Middlesex Region braved the cold weather and uneven terrain to take part in a tree planting initiative at Whippendell Woods, successfully planting 175 trees. This event reflects the commitment of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya to environmental stewardship, following the guidance of beloved Huzoor (aba), who reminded us:
“Every Ahmadi should make it a point to plant two trees every year. This is how you can fight climate change….”
The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“If a Muslim plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person, or an animal eats from it, it is regarded as a charitable gift (Sadaqah) for him.” (Bukhari, Muslim)
A heartfelt JazakAllah to Regional and Local Khidmat-e-Khalq department’s, for leading the teams in this rewarding effort on a freezing morning. May Allah accept everyone’s service! Ameen.
