Hounslow North, one of the favourites in this year’s title race, showcased their quality with a commanding 6-0 win over Greenford at Bannisters Sports Centre. Despite a strong and structured start from Greenford, the champions eventually broke through, with Rameez delivering a standout performance.

The opening minutes saw both teams probing each other’s defences, but Greenford’s solid structure frustrated Hounslow North. However, in the 8th minute, Rameez finally broke the deadlock with a scrappy goal in the box, assisted by Aadeer.

As Hounslow North began to assert control, more chances followed. In the 12th minute, Rameez doubled the lead with a header that rebounded off the keeper, courtesy of a Labeeb assist. By the 21st minute, Hounslow North’s relentless pressure paid off again, as Rameez completed his hat-trick after a defensive error from Greenford, with Adnan providing the assist.

Greenford managed to hold their own in terms of passing and structure in the first half, but the quality of Hounslow North’s attack proved overwhelming.

The second half continued in the same vein, with Adnan adding a fourth goal in the 36th minute after a brilliant assist from Rameez. Four minutes later, Rameez netted his fourth goal, making it 5-0, as Hounslow North’s numbers in attack overwhelmed Greenford’s defence. The scoring was capped off in the 43rd minute with a well-executed header from Rameez following a superb set-piece delivery from Aadeer.

Despite a defensive approach in the second half, Greenford could not contain Hounslow North’s attacking prowess. The match ended 6-0, with Rameez’s five-goal haul and Hounslow North’s title credentials firmly on display.
