Khidmat-e-Khalq Southall Update: Food Donation & Tree Planting Initiative
Alhamdulillah, the dedicated Khuddam from Southall Khidmat-e-Khalq recently carried out two impactful initiatives to support the community and the environment.
Firstly, on a heartwarming note, the team successfully completed a food donation drop at St. Mellitus Hall Church in Ealing. A total of £100 worth of food was donated to help those in need. May Allah reward everyone who contributed to this noble cause. As the Prophet Muhammad (saw) said, “The best of people are those that bring most benefit to the rest of mankind” . We hope this act of charity continues to inspire others to help those around them. JazakAllah to all involved.
On the environmental front, five Southall Khuddam joined the Khidmat-e-Khalq team for a tree planting initiative in Whippendell Woods, located on the other side of London. Together, they planted 175 trees, contributing to the preservation of the environment for future generations. As the Holy Prophet (saw) said, “If a Muslim plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person, or an animal eats from it, it is regarded as a charitable gift for him” .
A special JazakAllah goes to Nazim KeK Southall, Muddassir Sahib, for leading the Southall boys in this rewarding effort. May Allah accept everyone’s service and continue to bless these efforts.
These initiatives demonstrate the strength of the Southall Khidmat-e-Khalq team and their commitment to making a positive impact in the community and the environment.
