Asslamualaikum,

By the grace of Allah, on the 2nd of January, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Wimbledon Park was able to organise its annual local ijtema.

Set up began at 9:30am, with registration starting at 9:45am. The opening session then began at 10:30am and was chaired by local sadr sb. We started with a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the khuddam pledge led by local sadr sb, followed by a nazm. Local sadr sb then gave a short speech on the theme for this years ijtema, which as mentioned before is ‘Honouring our pledge’. The opening session concluded with silent prayer led by local sadr sb. The academic competitions then began, 5 competitions were held, Tilawat, Nazm, Adhan, Speech and Extempore speech. This was followed by an interactive quiz.  The ijtema was concluded by a final session which contained prize distribution and a speech from Regional Qaid and Local Qaid on the theme of the ijtema.
