Baitun Noor Regional Ijtema 2025
By the grace of Allah Baitun Noor held its regional Ijtema 2025 on the 19th April. The following is the report presented by the Nazim e Ala Abdul Bari Mughal sb.
As we draw the curtains on our regional ijtema centered around the theme *”The Holy Quran: A Casket of Jewels,”* I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your enthusiastic participation. This gathering has provided us with invaluable insights and a renewed commitment to deepening our connection with the Holy Quran.
We began our day at *10:30 AM* with an inspirational talk from our Vice President, *Atif Khalil Sb*, who illuminated the profound significance of the Holy Quran in our lives. His reflections served as a powerful reminder that the Quran is not just a book but a treasure trove filled with guidance and wisdom, waiting to be explored.
Following Atif Khalil Sb’s address, we were privileged to hear from *Tauseef Sb*, our esteemed President of Finance, who shared his integral perspective on managing our community’s resources responsibly while upholding the values embodied in the Quran. Afterward, we were treated to a fantastic presentation from ITQA UK, showcasing innovative ways to engage with the teachings of the Quran, building on our collective mission.
A significant emphasis was placed on our attendance campaign, which featured door-to-door visits and calls to encourage Khuddam to participate actively in this event. Promotional materials were widely shared, successfully fostering a strong community spirit and ensuring that everyone felt included and valued.
In addition to our enlightening discussions, there was a thrilling array of sports activities held inside the hall, including tug of war, a strongman competition, and pickleball. These activities encouraged teamwork and physical fitness among all participants.
Furthermore, we remember the exciting sports held on *April 6th* at Cannons. It was a day full of joy, laughter, and comradery, with every Khadim thoroughly enjoying the atmosphere. Our lunch that day—delicious chicken pasta—was a delightful treat, contributing to an overall wonderful experience.
We also had a huge interest for Badminton which took place in Chestnut Grove academy in Balham. Alhamdulillah lots of Khuddam turned up for this which took place on the 7th of April.
This morning, we enjoyed a scrumptious continental breakfast to fuel our day, followed by a delectable lunch featuring fish, biryani, and firni—each dish crafted to perfection and enjoyed by all.
As we close this enriching ijtema, let us carry forward the jewels we have collected through our discussions, interactions, and experiences. May we apply these lessons in our lives and communities, sharing the light of the Holy Quran in every endeavor we pursue.
I would like to take this opportunity to say a special thank you to respected sadr sahib and National amila members for giving there time to attend today’s Ijtema and joining us for the Q&A. Jazak’Allah to all Khuddam brothers and the regional amila for supporting with preparation leading to the final day today.
May Allah enable us all to benefit from the spiritual benefits of our gathering and may Allah enable us to act upon the teachings of the theme of the Ijtema ‘Holy Quran a Casket of Jewels’
Ameen
