Alhamdulillah, with the Grace of Allah, Baitul Ehsan Region held its Regional Ijtema for Khuddam on Sunday 20th April 2025 at Harris Academy, Morden.

Preparation of Ijtema

The planning for this year’s Regional Ijtema began in January 2025. An Ijtema Committee was formed, and held full committee meetings along with several subcommittee meetings, ensuring detailed and focused preparation across all departments.

During Ramadan, we organized an Indoor Sports Day with finals played on Sunday, 16th March. Events included:
• Table Tennis
• Snooker
• Carrom
• Fussball
• Ludo

On Friday 18th April, we offered Fajr behind beloved Huzoor (aba). Over 60 khuddam attended and wrote a letter to Huzoor, requesting prayers for the success of this Ijtema.

The Ijtema Day

The Ijtema site setup began a day before. On the day, Registration began at 8:30 AM, followed by breakfast, where Khuddam enjoyed Paye
and English breakfast.

We were honoured to welcome Naib Sadr Sahib Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya, Atif Khalil sahib, and Imam Ataul Mujeeb Rashed sahib who attended the opening session and beautifully presented the theme of the year. Following silent prayer and some announcements, a presentaion on Sarā-e-Masroor was presented by Mohtamim Maal, Tauseef Ahmad sahib.

Academic competitions started at 11:00 AM, with separate desks for each:
o Tilawat
o Nazm
o Azan
o Prepared Speech
o Extempore Speech

Sports competitions such as Cricket, Football, and Tug of War ran in parallel, beginning at 11:30 AM.

Lunch was served at 1:00 PM, Khuddam enjoyed:
o Chicken Roast
o Chicken Korma
o Veg Rice
o Kheer (dessert)

This was followed by Zuhr and Asr prayers at 2pm.

Following Namaz, Mohtamim Tarbiyyat, Akbar Butt sahib, delivered an interactive Talqeen-e-Amal session based on this year’s theme.

Once again, some announcements were made, then the afternoon session resumed with ongoing sports and academic competitions.
The Qur’an Exhibition, Hub, and Tuck Shop remained open for Khuddam to benefit and enjoy.
This year, some Hub Talks were held, which included:
o Ask a Murabbi
o Young Entrepreneurs and Career Advice

Before the final session, a beautiful presentation on the Theme of the Year was presented and followed by a quiz competition, engaging the Khuddam.

The final session started at 17:15 and was chaired by Respected Sadr Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya UK, Abdul Quddus Arif sahib. Following Tilawat, Pledge and Nazm, Ijtema Report was presented, followed by a Highlights Video of the day presented.

Following this, the Prize Distribution took place. Afterwards, Respected Sadr sahib addressed the Khuddam and ensured that the participants have learned about the Holy Qur’an, the theme of this year, throughout the day and stressed the importance of daily recitation and living by the examples set in it in our daily lives. This session and day was formally concluded with silent prayer.

Following this, a group photo with Sadr sahib took place for all the attendants.
Alhamdulillah, we achieved a total attendance of 392, which is 69% of our total Tajneed.
