MAA Local Ijtema Bolton 2026
Horwich, Bolton, UK – January 2026
By the Grace of Allah, the rise of the new year marked history for the Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya in Bolton with the commencement of first Atfal Ijtema in Bolton to be held separately. The Ijtema was held at Baitul Aziz in the town of Horwich on Saturday 17th January 2026. The opening session was chaired by Regional Amir North West, Abdul Ghalib Khan Sahib and Local President Zuhoor Ahmed Sahib. Talqeen-e-Amal on the topic of the theme of the year “Our Paradise Lies in Our God” was conducted.
Ijtema Programme
Morning Session

The opening session was succeeded with Academic competitions based on age groups and various topics based on the National Ijtema Syllabus, such as Tilawat (recitation), Nazm (poetry recitals), prepared speeches on various topics and memory tests. This was followed by outdoor sports which were held at the Horwich Leisure Centre and consisted of a mini-football tournament (split into older and younger age groups), 100 meter sprints and Sabit Qadmi (steadfastness).

Afternoon Session
With the conclusion of the outdoor sports competition, the Atfal headed back to the mosque for to offer Dhuhr and Asr prayers, which was then followed by a delicious dinner and indoor physical competitions & activities. These consisted of:
- Observation Test
- Obstacle Course
- Arm wrestling
- e-Sports Hub (Fifa & Mario Kart)
- Letter to Beloved Huzoor

Concluding Session
After an entire day of brotherhood, spiritual enlightenment, and physical activites, the closing session was held with the prize distrubution, before concluding the Ijtema with Dua (supplication).
