Baitul Futuh South – Homeless Feeding & Tabligh Event

By the grace of Allah, Baitul Futuh South Qiadat organised a successful Khidmat-e-Khalq and Tabligh activity in central London.

A total of 80 food boxes, arranged in collaboration with the local Jamaat’s Lajna department, were distributed alongside bottled water. This was followed by Tabligh activities, during which Khuddam distributed leaflets and engaged with members of the public using discussion boards displaying questions such as “What is Shariah law?” and “Is Islam a religion of peace?”. These themes had been practised during weekly Ta‘lim classes, enabling Khuddam to confidently and respectfully address common questions.

Atfal and younger Khuddam were also included to give them practical experience of both homeless feeding and Tabligh. They found the experience to be humbling and highly beneficial, helping them better appreciate the importance of service and respectful dialogue.

Following the outreach, participants shared a meal together, during which an informal Ta‘lim and Tarbiyyat session was held with the accompanying Murabbis. Overall, the event was highly beneficial, with valuable lessons learned to further strengthen future initiatives.
