By the grace of Allah, Old Malden qiadat held a local Virtual Rally on Saturday 15th January 2022 via Microsoft Teams. 

The day started with registrations at 9:30am, followed by opening session at 10am sharp and was chaired by respected Sadr Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Abdul Quddus Arif sahib. The opening session started with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an and its English translation, followed by pledge and opening remarks by each qaideen including Old Malden.

After this, Sadr sahib spoke about the importance of the Virtual Rally event, and this year’s theme “honouring our pledge”. The session concluded with silent prayer.

Following this, all Khuddam brothers from the Old Malden qiadat were requested to join a separate meeting URL for the academic competitions. These included Tilawat, Nazm and Extempore speech.
After the academics, 2 interactive sessions were delivered, one which revolved around the theme of this year (honouring our pledge). The second session was an online quiz to get every khadim participate.
At around 12:45pm the final session started – this was chaired by Aqib Khan sahib from the National team. This session included the recitation of the Holy Qur’an with English translation, Khuddam pledge, nazm, virtual rally report, prize distribution and lastly an inspiring speech about the importance of the theme. Lastly, this session was concluded by silent prayer.

Old Malden has it’s sports competition scheduled in week 3 InshAllah, this will include Football (5 a side), 100 meter run, arm wrestling etc.

Most importantly, the attendance of this years Virtual Rally was a total of 72% Alhamdulillah.
