National Qaideen Forum 2018

| December 23, 2018 to December 23, 2018

Alhamdulillah over the weekend the Annual National Qaideen Forum for 2018-19 was once again successfully held. It was a full day event starting with Tahajjud, covering a number of workshops and faith-inspiring talks and concluded with a presentation and dinner.

The ‘Social Issues’ workshop covered challenges Khuddam face in society and how to overcome them, such as the increasing presence of drugs and alcohol, helping Khuddam who may have lost contact with the Jama’at and whose relationship with parents and/or children may have been troubled. Ultimately, the importance and benefits of Salaat should be emphasised to all Khuddam as the solution to all these and Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih V(aba) had infact just mentioned this the day before to the National Amila in their Mulaqa’at (an audience with Huzur(aba)).

The ‘Amoomi’ workshop began with introducing the national department and generally imparting the importance of keeping eyes and ears open, especially when it comes to doing our part for the protection of Khilafat. An eye-opening scenario was laid out simulating the opening of a mosque and the group was split into 3 teams to discuss and plan how to prepare security around the event. The teams then came together at the event and the workshop organisers worked through each team’s designs and weaknesses and finally presented an ideal solution.

The workshop on ‘Mashale Rah'(literally meaning ‘the guiding light’) picked out certain extracts from the book by the same name that was written as a guide for office bearers by Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih II(ra), the founder of the Majlis. Several quotes were discussed and their relevance to the work Qiadats do in their respective Qiadats. Like in nearly every other workshop, the importance of Salat was again imparted to all Qiadats.

Respected Abid Khan Sb from the Markaz(Central) Press Office related some beautiful incidents with regards to Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih V(aba) and his personal relationship before and after his application for Waqf was accepted. He mentioned an incident in the last tour of America whereby a man requested Huzur(aba) to conduct his child’s Ameen (ceremony of completing the Holy Qur’an) but his flight was to depart soon. Despite Huzur(aba)’s very busy schedule, he graciously told him to come to his house with the child in the next 10 minutes for the ceremony. To read about more incidents, do keep an eye out for new diaries as they’re added at the link below.

Respected Mirza Mahmood Sb from the Markaz(Central) Audit Office also delivered a captivating talk on Khilafat and Khuddamul Ahmadiyya. As the grandson of Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih III(ra), he related his unique perspective on the ethics with which we must work and showed, through the examples of the Khulufa, what hard work really looked like and inspired the Khuddam with these examples of how much we could be capable of.

The day ended with a leaving ceremony and dinner in honour of the previous Sadr Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya – Sahibzada Mirza Waqas Ahmad – who was also present and had a lively exchange with the current Sadr Majlis, which was enjoyed by all.
